Neoma Frank

Neoma L. Frank, 98 of Ozark (formerly of Branson West, Mo.; Mead, Okla. and Omaha, Neb.), passed away on Wednesday, May 22 at her home with her son and daughter-in-law. She was born on March 5, 1921 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. to Thomas and Lily Hall.

Neoma was a bright, shining star in this world and will surely light up the skies in heaven. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Besides her children and family, her passion was gardening and she kept all her family and friends in produce. She was a member of Neighbors and Friends of Table Rock Lake and Shephard of the Hills Lutheran Church in Kimberling City. She was also a long time employee of Ross’ Steak House in Omaha, Neb.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Clarence C. (Tony) and Mary Frank and Joseph E. and Vickie Frank.

She is also survived by special nephews and nieces Carl and Eleanor Ijames and son Kevin, David and Claudia McCulloch and son Daniel, Kay Trimmer Harris Glasscock, husband George and children Lisa and Christa, Mark and Stephanie Hall and children Hailey, Wade and Khloe, David and Candi Hall daughter and son-in-law Leslie and Jerry Mowles and children Packard and Ethan. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and great-great-great-nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by many friends as she never met a stranger.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Clarence C. (Tony) Frank; parents, Thomas and Lily Hall; sisters, Ruth Hall, Goldie Ijames, Dorothy Spencer, Evelyn Trimmer and Helen McCullock; brothers, Lee, Leich and Alvin Hall.

The family would like to thank Phoenix Home Health and Hospice for their help and loving care over the last two months.

Services to honor Neoma’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Durant. Interment to follow. A family hour will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
