Chris “Bump” Bumpass, of Kingston, Okla., passed from this life on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the age of 30. He was born on Friday, March 31, 1989 in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Chris worked at Choctaw Casino where he had many friends and co-workers. He enjoyed Texas Rangers Baseball and loved spending time with his many friends and family but most of all his heart was with his son, Parker.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Brian Eric Bumpass on June 1994.
Survivors include his son Parker Ryan Bumpass of Durant; parents, Dempsey Lee and Shirley Marie (Clark) Bumpass of Hendrix, Okla.; sister, Amanda Mashaw of Kingston, Okla.; brother, Nick Bumpass of Gulfport, Miss.; niece, Makayla Mashaw of Kingson, Okla. as well as numerous
extended family and friends.
A family visitation will be held Monday, April 8, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the Monterey Chapel, 224 S. Ninth Ave. in Durant.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 5 p.m. at the Achille School Auditorium.
Chris was an organ and tissue donor in order to help others.
