Donna Edgmon, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and family member left this life and joined her Savior on Dec. 24, 2018 at the age of 68. She was born in Oklahoma City, Okla. on Nov. 17, 1950 to Robert Sterling Birk and Norma June (Guinn) Birk. Donna married Joe Edgmon in Bonham, Texas on Dec. 17, 1984.
Donna attended the Yuba Baptist Church. She had a loving compassionate heart towards all animals, she especially loved her dogs Flash and Sam. Donna had a vibrant personality and enjoyed making others join her in laughter with her joking around, she was always looking for ways to help others. She liked to look for bargains on her shopping trips, watch football and Ty’s horses run. Donna loved her family and looked forward to any time they could spend together.
Mrs. Edgmon is survived by her daughter, Kristy Dowd and husband Daryl of Albany, Okla. step-daughter, Vicki Edgmon of Albany, Okla.; grandkids, Kyle Dowd and fiancée Ashly Goggans of Albany, Okla., Ty Remington and wife Jessica of Albany, Okla., and Josh Edgmon of Sherman, Texas; great-grandkids, Trenton Remington and Taylor Remington of Albany, Okla.; brothers, Jimmy Birk of Moore, Okla. and Larry Birk and wife Sue of Broken Arrow, Okla.; she is also survived by many other loved ones and friends.
Mrs. Edgmon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Edgmon; brother-in-law, Jesse Edgmon; special sisters-in-law, Debbie Edgmon and Teresa Birk.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be at 2 p.m. Friday Dec. 28 at the Albany Baptist Church in Albany, Okla. with Marty Hutchings officiating. Burial will follow at the Albany Cemetery with Randy Edgmon, Roy Edgmon, Cylee Smith, Alan Dowd, Jerry Graham, Rob Owen, and Dan Simmons as pallbearers. Lacey Weger will be the honorary pallbearer.
