Mary Jeanne Pirtle

Mary Jeanne (Hamilton) Pirtle was born on Aug 24, 1955 in Hobbs, N.M. to William Kenneth and Julia Velma (Williams) Hamilton. Jeanne lived in Eunice and Lovington, N.M. until 1969 where she moved to Coleman, Oklahoma.

Jeanne graduated from Coleman High School in 1973. She received her RN from Murray State College in 1975.

During her time she served in many administrative positions including many years as the Director of the Emergency Room.  From Sept. 23, 2013 until her death she worked for the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Her hobbies included fishing, baking for others, going to concerts, shopping, going on girl trips, and doing things for her friends. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with those she loved.

Jeanne was kind, genuine, and beautiful, inside and out. If you were lucky enough to get her as your nurse she would provide with the best care possible; always going above and beyond. She was a blessing to all her friends; she was one of a kind.  She will truly be missed. She always thought of others before herself.
