Dustin Keith “Dusty” Nichols of Lane, Oklahoma, passed from this life on August 5, 2026, in Plano, Texas at the age of 56.
Dusty attended Lane Elementary School and attended and graduated from Atoka High School. Dusty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lane, Oklahoma. He worked for the City of Atoka and worked for the Choctaw Nation Travel Plaza.
Dusty is preceded in death by his father; Odis Nichols.
He is survived by his loving mother, Betty Nichols of Lane, Okla.; brother, Reggie Nichols and spouse Judy of Alderson, Okla.; brother, Eric Nichols and spouse Naomi of Coalgate, Okla.; four nephews and one niece and numerous other extended family members as well as his very special friends; Dean and Dana Jackson, Wita Reese, and Paul Crowley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
