Betty Janelle Pierce, 64, of Mead, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday July 19, 2026. Betty was born on April 10, 1962, in Oklahoma City to parents Jerry Don and Patricia Ann (Titus) Pierce. Betty was a 1980 graduate of Boswell High School. She worked as a caregiver, and she dedicated her life to taking care of others. She enjoyed crafting and treasured the time she spent with family and friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her mother, Patty Kuykendall and grandparents, M.D. and Mary Jo Pierce and Leroy and Opal Titus.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Jona Delozier and husband Jimmy of Mead, Okla.; son, Asa Pierce of Mead, Okla.; father, Jerry Don Pierce and wife Carolyn of Durant, Okla.; brothers, Michael Pierce and wife Sheila of Bennington, Okla., Joe Pierce and wife Sydni of Durant, Okla., and Patrick Kuykendall and wife Denese of Durant, Okla.; sisters, Kari Pierce of Durant, Okla. and Christy Thompson and husband Jamie of Pine Bluff, Ark. and numerous extended family and friends.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday July 26, 2026, at Brown’s Durant Funeral Service Chapel. Chaplain Don Fentem will officiate.
