Loren Arbuckle

Loren Arbuckle, 92, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 23, 2026. He passed away peacefully at his home in Conroe, Texas.

Loren was born in Dallas, Texas on February 8, 1934. He was the son of Theodore Arbuckle and Trella (Rogers) Arbuckle.

A man of unwavering faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, Loren exemplified the virtues of a Christian husband and father, providing a steady, loving, and guiding presence in the lives of his family and friends. He was an active member of West Conroe Baptist Church.

Upon completion of his senior year at Dallas Skyline high school, Loren served honorably in the United States Army Reserves.

Loren attended Arlington College, now known as The University of Texas at Arlington, where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. It was during this time that he met his future wife. For 65 years Loren shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Martha.

Loren built his engineering and management career primarily at M.W. Kellogg Company, rising to a senior management role focused on petrochemical design and construction.

Work opportunities took them first to Houston, then to many cities in Europe. After their travels, Loren and Martha returned to their home in Conroe to build their life and raise their three children.

Loren was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Trella Arbuckle, his beloved wife, Martha Arbuckle, his brother Theodore Arbuckle, Jr. and his sister Judy Dean.

Loren is survived by his children: John (LaDona) Arbuckle of Siloam Springs, Ark.; Jim Arbuckle of Splendora, Texas; and Susanne Zimmer of Conroe, Texas; and grandchildren: Nick (Jamie) Arbuckle, Luke Arbuckle, Mark Arbuckle and Sam Zimmer; grandson, James Rourke Arbuckle and numerous nieces and nephews.
