Jamie Lynne Roberts of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the age of 48, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Tuesday, August 2, 1977 in Dallas, Texas to Roberta Lynne (Morris) and John Reagan Young.
Jamie became a resident of Durant, Oklahoma in 2005. She married Jon Allen Roberts on September 21, 2024 in Sherman, Texas.
She enjoyed decorating, baking, catering, and dancing. She also enjoyed substitute teaching for Durant and Silo schools, coaching, and was a director of little league softball. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roberta Lynne (Morris) and John Reagan Young.
Survivors include her loving husband Jon Roberts of the home; sons Vincent Potter and Whitney Lane of Durant, Oklahoma, Garrett Paris and wife Gracie of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter Sidney Nicole of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren Brynlee Paris, Roo Lynne Paris, and Rory Paris – who is on the way; brothers Anthony Young, Bradley Young; aunt and uncle Rebecca and Tim Morris; as well as other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Fusion Bible Church, 1097 Gerlach Drive, Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Kevin Lamb officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gordon Funeral Home, 221 N. Third Ave. in Durant.
