Clyde Glenn, of Durant, passed away on October 24th, 2025, in Denison, Texas, at the age of 88. He was born on May 29th, 1937, in Silo, Oklahoma, to Luther Elford and Sarah Louise (Dowdle) Glenn.
Clyde proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On August 22, 1959, he married Ouida Sue Holland in Denison, Texas. Following his honorable discharge in 1961, Clyde dedicated his civilian life to the real estate industry where he excelled as both an appraiser and broker.
He is survived by his sons, Jon Clayton Glenn and his wife Tammy, Ronald Clyde Glenn and his wife Jennifer, and Scott Holland Glenn and his wife Stephanie, along with his daughter Kristi Michelle Morris and her husband Jeff. His legacy is carried on by his grandchildren – Daniel, Matthew, and Adam Hanna, Jordan, Chris, and Alex Glenn, Alainna Heflin, Jeff Harp, Kailey Williams, Keaton West, Kinsleigh Credille, Kevin Glenn, Kelsey Breon, and Maddie, and Roman Hayes, as well as his multiple great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Liz Glenn of Silo, Oklahoma, and Ethel Glenn of Mena, Arkansas.
Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Ouida Sue Glenn; his parents, Luther and Louise Glenn; his daughter, Lisa Dianne Hanna, and his brothers, James Luther Glenn, Fred Ardel Glenn, Robert Ellis Glenn, and Paul William Glenn.
His family will receive friends at his Family Hour from 7-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Silo Baptist Church with Brother Roger Speers officiating. Clyde will be laid to rest in Restland Cemetery in Silo following his service.
Those serving as pallbearers are Abrey Scheets, Roman Hayes, Jordan Glenn, Daniel Hanna, Keaton West, and Aaron Williams.
