DURANT – A benefit luncheon to assist Jason French will be held on Sunday at Overcomer Church in Durant.
French is recovering from open heart surgery which is received in June.
The luncheon will be from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24. It will be a barbecue meal with a choice of two meats and two sides for $10 or three meats and three sides for $15. Among the choices will be chicken, pulled pork, smoked sausage and hot links.
T-shirts will be for sale at the event, as well as items in a silent auction.
Overcomer Church is located at 720 S. Fifth Ave. in Durant.
Everyone is invited.
