Charles Williams, Jr. of Calera, Okla., passed from this life on Friday, December 6, 2024 at the age of 74. He was born on Monday, November 6, 1950 in Richmond, Ind., to Charles O. and Billie C. Williams.
He was a resident of Calera, Okla. for four years, but was previously a longtime resident of Whiteland, Indiana. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, did 2 tours in Vietnam and served six years in the Air National Guard. He worked for many years as an aircraft mechanic.
Charles enjoyed auto racing, aviation, and enjoyed spending time with his son and grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles O. and Billie C. Williams.
He is survived by his son, George Williams and wife Amber of Durant, Okla.; stepdaughter, Beth Willcox and husband Robert of Wabash, Ind.; grandson, Ayden Williams of Durant, Okla.; sisters: Suzanne (Williams) Prescott of Phoenix, Ariz., Rhys Shapiro of Mooresville, Ind.; and numerous other grandchildren as well other extended family and friends.
Cremation services have been selected.
