Atreyus Nashoba Lee Fox entered and departed this world on January 1, 2024, in Plano, Texas. In Choctaw, his middle name Nashoba means wolf. This little wolf’s brief presence on earth touched the hearts of those who anticipated his arrival with joy and hope.
Atreyus is lovingly remembered by his father, Taylor Fox of Durant, Okla.; his grandparents, Tanya Fox of Calera, Okla., and Angela Crockett of Sapulpa, Okla.; great-grandparents, Gary Sprabary of Greenville, Texas, and Patricia Philyaw of Durant, Okla.; aunt Lainie Fox of Durant, Okla.; uncle, Kristofer Fox of Seminole, Okla.; great-aunts, Misty Fox of Durant, Okla., and Nicole Sprabary also of Durant, Okla.; cousin, Brandon Jackson of Durant, Okla., and numerous other cousins will hold him dear in their thoughts.
Preceded in death by his grandfather, Brandon Fox and great-grandparents: Brenda Robison, Ina Robison, Colbert Robison, and Scott Philyaw.
Atreyus’s life, though fleeting, will forever be engraved in the hearts of his family, leaving a mark of love and light.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kristina Eaton officiating. A graveside service will be held at the pavilion in Bennington Cemetery where Atreyus will be laid to rest.
Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 N. Fifth Ave. in Durant.
