Anna Dewett of Durant passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, June 11, 2023. She was born on June 10, 1932 to Jesse Greenwood and Shara Riddle Boydston.
Anna was a member of the Choctaw Nation Senior Citizens. She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. She was also a member of the Cowboy Church. Anna will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Dewett of Durant, Okla.; her sons, Wayne Dewett of Bennington, Okla., and Jess Dewett of Broken Arrow, Okla.; her sister, Jimmy Friloux also of Durant, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her 13 great-great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death are her husband, F.T. Dewett; her parents, Jesse Greenwood and Shara Boydston, and her siblings.
Family hour will be held from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held to honor her memory at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023, in the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Anthony Williams and Olin Williams officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 N. Fifth Ave. in Durant.
