Edna Wendelene McDaniel, 84, of Colbert, Okla., passed away in Decatur, Texas on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Wendelene was born on July 9, 1938 in Colorado City, Texas to Wendell and Lorene (McLendon) Jordan. Wendelene had a very important job in her life: being a homemaker and raising four sons. She was always very happy and will be greatly missed. 
She was a talented lady. She loved music, painting and teaching. She was a pianist and could play beautiful songs on the piano and on an accordion. She was a member of the Platter Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons and their families: Mark and Tammy McDaniel of Nevada, Texas, Scott and Marlia McDaniel of Durant, Okla., Dr. Gene and Yen McDaniel of Springtown, Texas; sister, Molly Larue Nobles of LaFayette, Ga.; niece, Carol Lynn Garcia of San Leandro, Calif., Patsy Calloway and Rita Calloway of Waxahachie, Texas; great-niece, Kelsey Eghdami of Chattanooga, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren: Lisa Snapp, Lana VanZant, Dr. Connie Fiore, Dr. Courtney Stone, Hunter McDaniel, Hudson McDaniel, James McDaniel, Sutton McDaniel, Malayna McDaniel, Matthew McDaniel, Jaden McDaniel, Balynn Snapp, Barett Snapp, Khloe VanZant, Jaxon VanZant, August McDaniel, Pippa McDaniel, Penelope Stone, Sophia Fiore, Salem McDaniel, and Declan McDaniel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Lorene Jordan; her brothers, Claude Calloway and Lordell Jordan; her niece, Kerry Eghdami and her son, Kirk McDaniel.
