BRYAN COUNTY – The Durant Animal Shelter is excited to host its first adoption event of 2023. The “Find Furever Love Event” will be held on Friday, February 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. 
First United Bank, located at 1400 W. Main St., will host the event in their parking lot.
Nine of the Shelter’s finest animals will be available for a meet cute. In an ode to speed dating, each prospective pet will have a “dating profile” with information about their personalities and interests.
If you decide you’re ready to make a commitment, a lifetime of companionship will only set you back $35. Even better? Your new pet won’t ask for chocolates or flowers on Valentine’s Day. All they want is love.
