Michael Justin Wilson was born May 16, 1978, in Mesquite, Texas, the son of Steven Wilson and Deborah (Lee) Norwood. He departed this life on December 24, 2022, at the age of 44. Michael attended Boswell Schools and worked on the oil rig for several years. 
Michael was a kind and generous man, and everyone called him John Cena. He never wanted anyone to have a bad day and would do anything to help someone else. Michael was a ladies’ man and loved to play pool and watch Dallas Cowboys football. He loved kids and throwing a football with them, especially his nieces and nephews. Michael loved his family, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, and grandfather, Al Wilson.
Michael is survived by his mother, Deborah Norwood of Boswell, Okla.; stepfather, Robert Lynn; grandparents, Steve and Pearlen Vansickle; sisters, Amanda Wilson of Durant, Okla., and Mary Lynn of Boswell, Okla.; nephews, Brendon Wilson, Zaquary Wilson, Michael Salcido; nieces, Miah Vanduren and Aliyah Salcido along with a host of other family friends and loved ones.
Family-led memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on December 31, 2022, at Riverside Unity Church in Boswell, Okla., with Tim Harless officiating.
