James Jonathan “John” Bacon was born Nov. 20, 1971 in Talihina, Okla., the son of Jimmy Bacon and Mary Jane (Roberts) Bacon and had lived all of his life in Boswell.
John worked as a forklift driver for Rolloff’s and also worked in construction. He loved rock-n-roll music and played many instruments. He also enjoyed fishing, loved camping and hunting but most of all, he loved his grandchildren. John was of the Baptist faith.
His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Scotty Bacon; sister, D’Esta Hull, and grandson, Darren Bacon.
John is survived by his wife, Tina (Goolsby) Bacon; sons, Jesse Jones and wife Jamie of Lone Grove, Okla., Zachary Goolsby and wife, Shelby of Boswell, Okla. and Dalton Bacon and wife, McKenzie of Bennington, Okla.; sister, Evangeline Cubit and husband Dwight of Wright City, Okla.; grandchildren, Karleigh, Keeton, Keira, Bronx, Jensen and Luna.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021.
