Sharon Smith, of Caddo, Okla., passed from this life on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 at the age of 50. She was born on Friday, Nov. 13, 1970 in Durant, Okla., to Jimmie Alvin and Betty Lou (Robinson) Kimbrough.
She was a resident of Caddo, Okla. She enjoyed fishing, working, karaoke, dancing, girls night out back-roading. And spending time with her friends and family. Most of all she loved to spoil her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Roy and Elizabeth Robinson, Hattie Robinson, James A. Kimbrough and Luke and Mattie Smithson .
Survivors include her sons, Jimmie Smith of Calera, Okla., Andy Sheffield of Durant, Okla.; granddaughter, Zoey Smith of Mead, Okla.; grandson, J. J. Smith of Mead, Okla.; fiancé, Freddie McDonald of the home; brothers, James Kimbrough and wife Joy of Durant, Okla., Gerald Kimbrough; nieces, Kim Kelley of Durant, Okla., Krystal Bell and husband Blake of Durant, Okla.; great-nieces, Kaylee Kimbrough of Durant, Okla., Malorie McKinney and husband Trevor of Durant, Okla., Aubrie Bell of Durant, Okla., Kacie Bell of Durant, Okla.; great-nephews, Brett Bell, Chevy Bell, Preston Lowe; uncle, Stephen Kimbrough of Fort Worth, Texas as well as other extended family and a host of friends.
A family visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021 at the Mead Baptist Church with Bro. Kerry Groce and Virginia Espinoza officiating. Freddie McDonald, Jimmie Smith, Andrew Sheffield, Dustin Lott, Tubby Smith and Tommy Morrison will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Trevor McKinney, J.J. Smith, Preston Lowe, Bubba Smith and Chevy Bell.
