Jo Ann Robinson, a resident of Bennington, Okla., joined her husband, Bobby Ray Robinson in Heaven on October 1, 2021, at the age of 81. She was born in Bennington on Nov. 11, 1939, to Floyd L. Percell and Louise Berneice (Loveall) Percell.
Jo Ann dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She had a loving heart for others and would give generously to many charities. Jo Ann like to shop from catalogs, read good books (she had a large book collection), watch NCIS, and cooking delicious meals for her family. She loved growing things like plants and flowers, but her greatest joy was visiting with her friends and family.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her cherished children: Robert Robinson and wife Raylene of Colbert, Okla., Julie Ann Kirk of Bennington, Okla., Clarissa Jewel Housel of Bonham, Texas, and Steven Allen Robinson of Broken Bow, Okla.; grandchildren: Michael Robinson and his children, Zachary, Bradley, and Elizabeth, Cody Robinson and his child Conner, Brandi Kirk and her children, Raven, Taylor, Kadence, and Rylee, Kenneth Littleton Jr., wife Emily, and children, Collin and Emery, Nicholas Burns, and Caitlin Stockton and Shelly and Jaxxon; sister, Patricia Griffin and husband, Danny of Mustang, Okla., along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Louise Percell; husband, Bobby Ray Robinson; brother, Larry Bruce Percell; and sister, Brenda Kay Bennett.
Family hour will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, OK.
A funeral service in her honor will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8 at the First Baptist Church in Bennington with Jay Perry officiating. Her final resting place will be the Bennington Cemetery with Lance Hampton, Kevin John, Brandon Harrison, Jamie Campbell, Kenneth House, and George Daniels as her pallbearers.
