Judy Ann (Gilmore) St. Clair was born on May 17, 1945 in Durant, Okla. to Elum and Mable Lundy Gilmore. Judy passed from this life on Sept. 30, 2021 in Durant at the age of 76.
Judy married Kenneth St. Clair Sr. on June 8, 1959 and they were united as one for 47 years until Kenneth’s passing on August 27, 2006. Judy was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. She loved her family deeply and treasured the time she spent with them. She was proud member of the Choctaw Nation and she enjoyed going to the casino, dancing drums, yard sales, playing bingo, fishing and keeping everyone in line.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Melissa Hamilton; grandson, Kenneth St. Clair III; brother, Ronnie Gilmore and sister, Deritha Hebert.
Judy is survived by her children, Rhonda Strange and husband David, Kenneth St. Clair and wife Debra; grandchildren: Terena Peterson and husband Daniel, David Strange Jr. and wife Toni, Kevin Strange and wife Eva, Kenneth St. Clair IV, Kendra St. Clair, Beth Patton, Charles Patton and Kaylyn Hamilton; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lavelle Gibson and numerous extended family and friends.
Services to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Richard Rancher will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery with Brian Gibson, Timothy Gibson, Jeff Gibson, Wayne Gibson, Chris Gibson and Daniel Peterson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m.
