Dolores Smith Willard was born on March 29, 1925 southeast of Yuba, Okla., known as the Hackbury Community. She passed away on Sept. 23, 2021, at the age of 96.
She is the daughter of Augustus and Nodie Parker Smith. She was a graduate of Yuba High School and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She was married to David W. Willard in 1946, and they had two daughters, Deborah and Denise.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David; daughter, Deborah Jacobs; two grandchildren, Joel Jacobs and Ruth Genevieve; three brothers, AJ Smith, Leo Smith, Lindy Smith and two sisters, Oleta Dobbins and Thelma Campbell.
She leaves behind one daughter, Denise Williams (Danny); two grandchildren, Melissa Henderson (Eric) and Chris Williams; three great-grandchildren, Landon Williams, Collins and Nash Henderson and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Okla. at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021.
