DURANT – A local church is a drop-off point for items to help those affected by Hurricane Ida.
Abundant Life Texoma is receiving donations to go to people who are recovering from the hurricane and the damage done by the storm.
Items to consider for donation are water, non-perishable food, personal hygiene products, paper products, dry pet food, first aid supplies, and cleaning supplies. People can make monetary donations, as well.
A group from the church will be taking the supplies and more to Louisiana in the near future.
The church office is open Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m.-noon.
