Stacey was born Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1962 in Kansas City, Mo. to Fred and Carolyn (Dye) Marts. She passed from this life on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021 in Durant, Okla. at the age of 59. 
Stacey lived most of her life in Bryan County and is a graduate of Achille High School with the Class of 1980. Stacey worked for hospice as a Nurse, and was last employed as a Medical Technician with the Choctaw Nation Health Clinic for 16 years.
Stacey enjoyed going to new restaurants and trying new foods. She loved her grandbabies, enjoyed being with family and traveling when she could.
Stacey is survived by her daughter, Ali Bailey and her husband, Kory, and their son, Silas, of Durant, Okla.; son, Daniel Peterson and his wife, Terena, of Durant, Okla., with their children Jaxon, Ryan, Mitchell and Summer, and their children, Rhailee, Layla and Haydon; daughter, Elicia Sweeden and her spouse, Sherry, of East Tawakoni, Texas; her father, Fred Marts of Hendrix, Okla.; brother, Chris Marts of Hendrix, Okla.; sisters, Eden Bolerjack and her husband, Sam, of Hendrix, Okla. and Mikie Ledford and her husband, Glenn, of Midland, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. 
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Old Ice House located at 215 N. Third Ave. in Durant.
