Phillip Loy Viles, 68, of Colbert, Okla. passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, Texas. He was born Jan. 29, 1953 in Levelland, Texas to Floy and Alma Tennell Viles.
Phillip moved to Colbert when he was a small child and was a graduate of Colbert High School. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping and fishing with his wife, Debbie, and family and friends. He worked at Oscar Mayer for 20 years and then worked for Blockbuster until they closed and finished his career at Ruiz Foods.
He was preceded in death by Floy Augusta Viles, Alma Leigh Tennell Viles, infant sister, Helen Viles Jackson and Roger David Viles.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Bentley Viles of the home in Colbert, Okla.; brother, Floy Wayne Viles and wife Sharon; son, Chris Bell and Felica Davis; daughter, Terah Viles Victorian and fiance Delbert Love; grandchildren: Khrystian Rice, Jaedin Victorian, Morgan Bell, Chase Bell, Alma Jo Bell and Madi Leavett; two great-granddaughters; multiple nieces and nephews; an aunt and uncle and many friends.
A celebration of the life of Phillip Loy Viles will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2021 at Cunningham Funeral Home.
