Bobby Dale Blades passed away on July 20, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Okla. at the age of 67. Bobby was born on August 12, 1953 in Taos, N.M. to Nobert Doc and Goldie Lorene (White) Blades. 
After high school graduation, Bobby attended and graduated from Murray State College in Tishomingo. Bobby married Donna L. Overstreet on Sept. 3, 1971 and they were united in marriage for 46 years until Donna’s passing on April 14, 2017. Bobby started working for SW Bell/AT&T and he and Donna moved to Bryan County and began their family and they were blessed with three children. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by is wife, Donna L. Blades; parents, Nobert and Lorene Blades; grandson, Lonny O’Dell Miller and brother, Don Blades. 
Bobby is survived by his daughters, Angela Knight and husband Cody of McAlester, Okla. and Erin Miller and husband Lonny of Durant, Okla.; son, Eric Blades of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren: Emily Compton, Hattie Malicoat, Katelynn Knight, Kaylee Knight and Ryland Knight; brothers: Jimmy and Ray Blades; sisters: Marie Martin, June Russell, Sue Bolin and Janie Davidson and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Rev. Randall Drake will officiate.
Interment will follow in Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Okla. with Charlie Paul, Joe Davidson, Wesley Davidson, Clay Bolin, Jeremy Ervin, Patrick McCarty and Chris Blades serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Darvis Dancer, Darrell Smith, Steve Walker and Gordon Bruce.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
