Mary Margaret Heard, 90, of Durant, Okla., passed away on April 24, 2021. Mary was born on July 2, 1930 in Shawnee, Okla. to George Gregory Miller and Margaret Ruffner Miller.
Mary graduated from Shawnee High School and went on to receive her LPN license. She married Charles A. Heard in Salt Lake City, Utah. They resided in Oklahoma City and came to the Durant area in 1982. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Amaranth, and the Pithian Sisters.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Miller; husband, Charles Heard, and daughter, Deborah Wells. 
Mary is survived by her son, Michael Wells and wife Carolyn of Frisco, Texas; grandson, Jason Heartline and great-grandson, Carson Heartline of Sherman, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Mead Cemetery with Brother Randy Lewis officiating.
