Carolyn Joann (Fisher) Britton, 76, of Platter, Okla. passed away Monday April 19, 2021 at Southern Pointe Living Center in Colbert, Okla. She was born September 3, 1944 in Durant, Okla. to William and Essie King Fisher.
She was educated in Platter and Colbert schools and lived in Platter all her life. She married Bobby Britton Dec. 19, 1969 and they later divorced. She had worked at Frank’s Corner for many years until she retired. She loved garage sales, babysitting all her babies and Bingo and Choctaw.
She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Bobby Britton; daughter, Angela Britton; sister, Billie Reeves; brothers-in-law, Hoss and Sonny Reeves; niece, Darla Manery and nephew, Chris Manery.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Patton and husband Kent of Platter, Okla.; sisters: Lawanda Manery of Platter, Okla., Jimmie Reeves of Durant, Okla. and Jackie Newton of California; nephews: Ricky Manery, Shelby Royston and Jeremy Forman; special friends: LaDonna Earley, Tiffany Chagas, and Stephanie Fellabaum; special grandchildren: Carmen and Liddy Chagas, Madison and Keely Fellabaum, Waylon and Abby Stanley and Juniper Forman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Carolyn Britton will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Cunningham Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Speers of the Kemp Baptist Church officiating.
