Margie Sue (Powell) Simpson, 98, passed away on Jan. 5, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of Oliver Glenn Simpson. They shared 60 years of marriage together (married July 1944).
Margie Sue was born at home west of Caddo, Okla. She was the daughter of Samuel Hatsel and Johnnie Belle Powell. She graduated from Caddo High School in 1940, and Oklahoma State University in 1944. She was a faithful, supportive wife and devoted mother. She will be remembered for her love of family and gracious hospitality.
Mrs. Simpson is survived by her sister, Hatsene Milligan; daughter, Olivia Sue Carson and husband Dick; grandchildren, Eric Carson, Seth Carson and wife Katie, Shelbi Galeria and husband Colt, and Kallie Sue Simpson; great-grandchildren, Lakelyn Faith Carson, and survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Glenn Simpson; son, Hatsel Simpson; parents, Hatsel and Johnnie Belle Powell; and sisters, Mary Annette Carlton and Julia Belle Cochran.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo with Jim Pratt officiating. Her honorary pallbearers will be Eric Carson, Seth Carson, J. H. Carlton, Terry Milligan, Jimmy Mahana, Colt Galeria, Joe Schuler, and Curtis Parr.
