Charles Hendricks Miller, of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 in the comfort of his home surround by those who loved him, at the age of 82. He was born on April 11, 1938 in Durant, Okla. to Martin Lucian and Annabelle (Hendricks) Miller.
Charles married the love of his life Carolyn Ward, on Oct. 12, 1957 in Madill, Okla. He was a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Okla. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Calera and previously the First Christian Church in Owasso, Okla.
He was a car salesman for more than 30 years working many places. This led to his passion of buying and selling not only cars, but also anything. Charles also loved to watch and follow the stock market. He enjoyed fishing and playing dominos.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Miller; parents, Martin Lucian and Annabelle (Hendricks) Miller; daughter, Rhonda Renae Miller and son-in-law Les Riker.
He is survived by daughters: Sheila Riker of Sperry, Okla., Leslie Miller Nabors and husband Randy of Frisco, Texas, Marguerite McKinney of Falls Church, Va., Carolbeth Hyde and husband Don of Calera, Okla.; son, Eric Miller and wife Jennifer Birdsong of Ft. Myers, Fla.; grandchildren: Morgan Riker, Shelby Williams, Wade Riker, Alisha Self, Sarah Wilson, Victoria Wilson, Haley Wilson, Dmitry Wilson, Kyle McAllister, Sam McKinney, Charlie Miller; great-grandchildren Oliver Williams, Tristan Rosga, Maddox Rosga, and Jasper Self.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Okla. with Don Hyde officiating. Sam McKinney, Wade Riker, Kyle McAllister, Dmitry Wilson, Don Hyde, and Charlie Miller will serve as honorary pallbearers.
