James Eugene McGee, 74, of Colbert, Okla., passed away at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas, on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020. Jimmy was born on Oct. 10, 1946 in Denison, Texas to Robert E. McGee and Eileen Denning McGee.
He married Carolyn Martin on Nov. 11, 2011. He was formerly employed in production with Johnson & Johnson. He loved and served his country in the United States Navy. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Eilleen McGee; the mother of his children, Nancy Bowles McGee in 2011; his son, Greg Sexton of Colbert, Okla. and his grandchild, Justin Easley of Denison, Texas. 
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn McGee of their home; children: Misty Acosta of Mead, Okla., Kimberly McGee of Beaumont, Texas; grandchildren; Anthony Hess of Sherman, Texas, Ashlyn Cowan of Kenefic, Okla.; six great-grandchildren; brother, Van McGee and wife Maureen of Irving, Texas and other extended family and many friends.
The family will plan a service at a later date.
