Mary Mae (Musgrove) Dollar 88, of Yuba, Okla. passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Okla. She was born May 1, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to William Junior and Eva (Buckmaster) Musgrove.
Mary loved to garden. It didn’t matter what she grew because she could grow anything – flowers and veggies of any kind. Next to her garden was the love of her animals. Her greatest joy was great big tomatoes, baby goats, her dogs, cats and chickens.
Her grandchildren played a major role in her life. She loved her babies. Mary had a lot of extra children come thru her life. She helped them get back on their feet and turn into young adults. She was a longtime member of the Yarnaby Assembly of God and lived in Yuba most all her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Buford Dollar, grandson Barry Dollar, brothers William and Elvis Musgrove and sister Inez Grider.
She is survived by three children: Barry Dollar of Ardmore, Okla., Nancy Burba and husband Dan of Stillwater, Okla. and David Dollar and wife Darla of Cartwright, Okla.; grandchildren: Michael Dollar, Erin and Sam Dollar, Dillon Dollar, Carson Dollar, Allan Joseph Burba, Tara Dollar and Cameron Dollar; siblings: Richard Musgrove of Hillsboro, Ore., Leonard Musgrove and wife Sharon of Wilson, Okla., Vernon Musgrove of Vinita, Okla., Clorene Newsom of Achille, Okla., Betty Grider of Colbert, Okla., Esther Prater and husband Chester of Yuba, Okla. and Pansy Boney and husband Frank of Hendrix, Okla. She also leaves behind sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and lots of friends.
A funeral service for Mary Mae Dollar was held Thursday July 2, 2020 at the Yarnaby Assembly of God.
