Lena P. Mead-Trent, a resident of Ardmore, Okla., joined her Savior, on June 8, 2020 at the age of 80. She was the daughter of Arie Lee Lotspeich and Nettie Pearl Webb Lotspeich born in Kenefic, Okla. on May 2, 1940.
Lena was blessed to be married twice in her lifetime, first to Bill Mead from Oct. 13, 1956 until his death on June 18, 2011, second to Curtis Trent from June 2014 to her passing on June 8, 2020. She was a faithful member of the Calvary Baptist Church, and a member of the Southern Baptist Association from 1950 to the present. Lena loved working with her hands sewing, and especially enjoyed her beautiful flower gardens.
Mrs. Trent is survived by her cherished husband, Curtis of the home; children, Randy Mead and wife Melanie of Owasso, Okla. and Pamela Willson and husband Paul of Broken Arrow, Okla.; grandchildren, Steven Mead and Bryan Mead of Owasso, Okla., Hillary Brown of Oak Harbor, Wash., Bethany Willson of Broken Arrow, Okla., Paul S. Willson of Tulsa, Okla., Daniel Willison of Broken Arrow, Okla., Jonathan Willison of Tulsa, Okla., Luke Willison of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Amy Willson of Broken Arrow, Okla.; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Delorise Hathway of Oklahoma City, Okla., Wanda Reese of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Dottie Davis of Yuba, Okla.
Mrs. Trent was preceded in death by her parents, Arie and Pearl Lotspeich; siblings, Ruth Lenora Bond, Esther Lotspeich, Lois Lukens, Oscar Lotspeich, Lester Lotspeich, Darrell Lotspeich, Larry Lotspeich, and James Lotspeich.
A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday June 11, 2020 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, Okla. with Bro. Darel Bunch officiating. Her final earthly resting place will be at the Highland Cemetery in Durant with her beloved grandsons service as her honorary pallbearers.
