Betty Jo Hyde, a precious soul and beloved family member, joined her Savior in Durant, Okla. on March 18, 2020 at the age of 88. She was born in Caddo, Okla. to Morgan Henry Haddock and Bertha Mae (Moody) Haddock on May 30, 1932.
Betty was a lifetime, dedicated member of the Caddo First Baptist Church and member of the Caddo Civic Club. She enjoyed sewing and preparing wonderful meals for those she loved.
Mrs. Hyde is survived by her daughters: Paula Wingfield and husband Randy of Caddo, Okla., Claudene Williams and husband Rex of Calera, Okla., and Patty Hyde of Mead, Okla.; grandchildren: Joe Wingfield of Caddo, Okla., Josh Wingfield and wife Kenna of Albany, Okla., Rex C. (Tra) Williams III of Calera, Okla., Autumn L. Williams of Calera, Okla., Patricia Singleton and husband Wesley of Bokchito, Okla., and Trina Dunegan of Mead, Okla.; great-grandchildren: Hunter and Kamden Wingfield both of Albany, Okla. and Mackenzie Singleton of Bokchito, Okla.
Mrs. Hyde was preceded in death by her parents, Morgan and Bertha Haddock; husband, Harlon Hyde, they were married in Big Lake, Texas on December 9, 1950; brothers: Charles Mahana, R.B. Haddock, Morgan Haddock, Jr., Aubrey Haddock and sister, Pauline Joines.
Family hour will be from 3-4 p.m. Sunday, March 22 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla. A church service in her memory will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23 at the Caddo First Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Self officiating. Betty Jo’s final resting place will be the Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren as her pallbearers.
