Vickie Elaine (Pope) Burnett was born on July 3, 1962 in Durant to Clarence and Jewel (Wooton) Pope. Vickie passed from this life on Monday, March 2, 2020 in Durant at the age of 57.
Vickie graduated from high school and worked for the Choctaw Casino for 12 years until her health declined. She married Frankie Burnett and they were blessed with many years together. She dearly loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Pope; and sisters, Doretha Cain, Peggy Brown and Belinda Evans.
Vickie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Frankie Burnett; son, Nicholas Pope and wife Diona; stepsons, Russell Burnett and Ricky Burnett; grandchildren, Jason D. Pope, Destinee N. Pope, Mason Hughes and Jaylon Hughes; sister, Anita Burns; brothers, David Pope, Nickie Pope and Steve Pope and numerous extended family and friends. 
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Highland Cemetery in Durant. Rev. Patricia Blagg will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m.
