Fleming Fred Simes, Jr. passed away on Jan. 30, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Fleming was born on Sept. 14, 1960 to Fleming Fred Simes, Sr. and Christine (Phillips) Simes in Talihina, Okla.
Fleming was a lifelong resident of the Boswell area. He was a Mississippi Choctaw and a member of the Choctaw Nation. He married Tina Thomas on April 20, 1984 in Hugo, Okla.
Fleming was a mechanic by trade. He also was a cattle rancher and a pecan harvester.
His parents and an infant brother preceded him in death.
Fleming is survived by his loving wife, Tina Simes; daughter, Jessica Inez Simes-Williams and husband Hank of Broken Bow, Okla.; sons, Fleming Simes III (Bubba) and girlfriend Samantha Johnson of Utica, Okla., David Lee Simes and wife Shelly of Ardmore, Okla., Cody Lane Simes and wife Amy of Durant, Okla., Issac Wes Simes of Boswell, Okla., Bruce Thomas of Hugo, Okla.; brother, Manual Simes of Boswell, Okla.; sister, Marie Simes of Sherman, Texas; aunt, Edna Roberts of Bennington, Okla.; uncles, Paul Lucas of Eufaula, Okla. and Edgar Stevens of Soper, Okla.; 11 grandchildren: Fleming Simes IV, Abbigail Simes, Blakelynn Simes, Thunder Simes, Sunset Simes, Aceson Simes, Legacy Simes, Region Williams, Chevy Simes, Chasien Simes and Zade Simes; and a host of other family and friends.
