DURANT – It’s already that time! It is early November and time to eat pancakes.
And it is for a good cause – assuming you needed a reason to eat pancakes.
The annual Kiwanis Pancake Day will take place at the Clay Jones Community Center (1901 S. Ninth Ave.) on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
“This is a long-standing tradition,” said Brandon Armstrong, Recruiting Coordinator for Woodmen Life in Durant and member of the Kiwanis.
“It is the only fund-raiser we do each year and the money raised goes to finance many youth activities.”
Tickets are $6 at the door and children under 12 are $3 at the door for all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, milk and coffee.
