Harold Dean Risner, 77, of Durant, Okla. passed away on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 in Durant. Harold was born on Oct. 15, 1941 in Durant to Wiley Raymond “WR” Risner and Ruby Irene (Green) Risner. 
He graduated from Blue High School and later worked in construction before working as a lineman for Southeastern Electric. Harold proudly served his country in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. In his spare time, Harold liked to go fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Loueta Armstrong, and Ima Jean Krebbs.
Harold is survived by daughter, Tonya Hawkins of Texas; son, Keith Risner of McAlister, Okla.; sister Linda Carr of Durant, Okla.; brother, Wendell Risner and wife Marie of Mead; four grandchildren: Checota, Hunter, Jessica, and Tabitha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019 at Highland Cemetery Pavillion with John Teel officiating.
