Verlin D. Bornmann, of Mead, Okla. passed away on September 11, 2019 in Durant, OK at the age of 82 years, 7 months, 4 days. He was born on Feb. 7, 1937 in Soper, Okla. to Perry R. and Lora Ada (Edge) Bornmann.
Verlin attended Soper then Boswell High School. He later met and married Shirley Ann (Forbeau), and they were married for over 62 years before her passing in July 2018. He was in the Army Reserves and worked for many years as a heavy machine operator. Verlin enjoyed arrowhead hunting and loved his cat.
Verlin was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, parents Perry and Lora Bornmann, brother Billy Ray Bornmann, and a sister Virginia Fern Ary.
Verlin is survived by his brother Ueal Bornmann and wife. Sue of Mead, Okla.; sister, Ramona Joy Pugh of Longview, Texas; and sister Betty Jo Robinson of Boswell, Okla.
