Tommie Dale Cheek of Boswell, Okla. passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 in Oklahoma City at the age of 61. He was born on Feb. 27, 1958 in Paris, Texas to Charlie Cheek and Mattie (Linn) Cheek. 
Tommy attended Crowder Prairie School and loved to entertain people, socialize, and listen to Elvis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mattie Cheek; siblings, Arlene Cheek, Lenora Brutchen, Vera Cahill, Wesley Cahill, Pat Kelley, Claude Cahill, Altha Keener, and Charles Ray Cheek.
Survivors include his brothers, Don Cheek and wife Sherri of Boswell, Jesse Cheek and wife Paula of Calera; sister, Merlene Risner; along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. 
Services to honor Tommie’s life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant with Larry Minchey and Chad Moffatt officiating. Interment will follow in Boswell Cemetery with Nathan Jackson, Tyler Hampton, Billy Jean Brutchin, and Zach Belvin serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be James Dylan Futrell and Tobie Ray Futrell. The family will accept friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
