2020 Magnolia Festival postponed

Durant Area Chamber of Commerce

DURANT – Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma and Durant Area Chamber of Commerce announce the 24th Annual Magnolia Festival has been rescheduled to Nov. 5-7, 2020 at the Choctaw Event Center located at 3702 Choctaw Road in Durant.

After weeks of carefully monitoring the ongoing spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the decision to reschedule the event.

The Magnolia Festival Committee has been committed to observing the recommendations put forth by public health officials since the beginning of this unprecedented situation. The most current information released by government and health care officials continue with the recommendations to consider postponing meetings and limiting attendance throughout the spring and summer months. Therefore, the current environment makes it impossible for us to hold a safe and enjoyable event for our attendees and exhibitors in May 2020.

We want to thank our exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, the Choctaw Nation and the City of Durant for their commitment and support during these challenging weeks. We will continue to collaborate with our partners and our sponsors as we add additional events for the 2020 Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma.

In the coming days we will be reaching out to all those who have registered for the event with further details. All the exhibitors whose applications have been accepted will automatically transfer to our new date and we will reopen applications for additional exhibitors as well.

We thank all of you for your support and patience through these changes and uncertain times. Our promise to you is to make our 2020 Magnolia Festival the biggest and best event we can!
