Durant Main Street honored local businesses Thursday night at the organization’s annual banquet.

Outgoing president of the Main Street Board, Kassi Wilkey, said she was proud of what has been accomplished among the members of the local business community during the past year.
“We had a great turnout last night!” Wilkey said. “We are so proud of all of our downtown businesses for their persistence through a pandemic year. We are proud of their growth despite the challenging circumstances and even prouder of the community our business owners built over the last 12 months.
“We’d like to extend a huge note of appreciation to all of the businesses, volunteers, staff, and community members who supported and continue to support Durant Main Street and our endeavors. We are looking forward to a fantastic new year!”
