DURANT – More than 50 were in attendance at the annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes luncheon at the Choctaw RV Park on Wednesday.

Sports presented by Indian Nation Wholesale.

This marks the third year the Southeast area FCA has hosted this gathering to sow into the coaches in the area.

The event was led by area representative John Capps and women’s miniseries director Jaysa Northcutt.

Coaches and staff came from Durant schools, Madill schools, Tishomingo schools, Colbert schools, Southeastern Oklahoma State University and Murray State College.

Randy Weeks was the featured speaker for the day. The pastor of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas, Weeks encouraged the group to not let the opportunities that God has given them go by.

The next big event for the area in FCA is the SE Gameday 2018, on Sept. 29 at Paul Laird Field.
