Silo’s Cullum receives WoodmenLife scholarship

DURANT – A local 2018 high school graduate was recently awarded a WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship. Julie Cullum, who is a WoodmenLife member, submitted an application highlighting her high school grades, activities and volunteerism, as well as an essay on patriotism.

“Youth have always been an important part of our organization,” said WoodmenLife Representative, Brandon Armstrong. “So we are honored to provide this scholarship to help deserving young members further their education and realize their dreams.”

The WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship Program is part of the member benefits. The program awards up to $1 million annually to members furthering their education in a two-year or four-year college, university or technical school. This year, WoodmenLife will award approximately 975 scholarships ranging from $500 to $25,000.
