The Savage Storm football team appeared in the American Football Coaches Association Top 25 Coaches’ Poll this week at No. 23.
It had been 10 years since SE had last appeared in a national ranking.
Southeastern is now 5-0 on the season, following a dramatic 30-27 last-second victory at Northwestern on Saturday. The Storm is now the only undefeated team in the Great American Conference and at the top of the standings in the 12-team league.
The team is back at home at Paul Laird Field this weekend for Homecoming, hosting rival Southwestern (2-3) at 2 p.m.
