Donna Lee (Harvey) Long was born on July 17, 1976 in McAlester, Okla. to Donald Harvey and Eva (Boatner) Russell. Donna passed away on July 22, 2018 in Mead, Okla. at the age of 42.
Donna graduated from Coalgate High School and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She moved to Bryan County 20 years ago and later married Herman Long. She was a devoted wife and mother and friend to many. He dearly loved her family and enjoyed writing. The birth of her grandson made life complete.
Donna was preceded in death by her father; son, Austin Hedgecock and infant daughter, Shanna Marie Hedgecock.
Donna is survived by he husband, Herman Long of the home; mother, Eva Russell and husband Billy “John” of Mead; children, Haleigh Jackson and husband Dakota and their son, Augustus of Calera, Lucas Long, Trenton Long, Jacob Long, Jesse Long, Cassidy Long and Kyleah Long all of Mead; brother, Robert Harvey of Mead and numerous extended family and friends.
A celebration of Donnas’ life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Randy Lewis will officiate. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
