Lorene McBride of Caney passed from this life on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 at the age of 87. She was born in Caney, OK on Friday, Jan. 30, 1931 to L. D. “Boomer” and Martha Ann (Howard) Watson. She was a longtime resident of the Caney and Caddo area.
She married Alfred E Workman who passed away in 1961 and later married Elray McBride who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Mildred Jordan, Theola Seay, Marilyn Hand and Delphine Mitchell.
She is survived by her daughters Debbie Nickles and husband Gerald of Caddo, Okla., Martha Childers and husband James of Cad-do, and Rebecca Henderson of Caddo; sisters, Sandra Watson of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jean Ballew and husband Rowland of Coleman, Ala.;
Brother Roy Watson and wife Connie of Caney, Okla.; Grandchildren, Tish Adams of Jones, Okla., Jim Ridgway and friend Akisha Martin of Bixby, Okla., Angela Beedle and husband Mike of Richardson, Texas, Leslie Gootos and husband Peter of Grapevine, Texas, Michelle Nickles of Caddo, Jeremy Childers and wife Kacey of Caddo, Dillon Henderson of Calera, Okla., Tracey Henry of Caney, Angie Hodge and husband Brian of Caddo, Brandie Humphrey and husband Zack of Edmond, Okla., Brittany Henderson of Caddo, Delanee Henderson of Lane, Okla.; 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews.
She was of the Baptist Faith. She loved sewing and crocheting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Gerald Nickles will be officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at the Gethsemane Cemetery, Caddo, Okla.
