DURANT – Candidates whose names are on the ballot in November had the opportunity to share about themselves in front of a local audience on Tuesday evening.

The Cattleman’s Association hosted a forum at the Community Building inviting those who are running for county and state seats of authority this fall.
Among those in attendance (who addressed the crowd in this order): Arnold Bourne (State Senate 6), David Bullard (State Senate 6), J.J. Humphrey (State Representative 19), Ron Boyer (County Commissioner 1), Jay Perry (County Commissioner 3), Travis McIntyre (County Commissioner 3), Mike Hull (County Assessor) and Ricky Nix (County Assessor).
Many of the candidates spoke of their local ties, stressing their knowledge of and affinity for Bryan County and Oklahoma.
