Jerry Dale Baker Jr of Durant, Okla. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at the age of 47. Jerry was born to Jerry Dale Baker Sr. and Mary Jane (Anoatubby) Baker on July 7, 1971 in Denison, Texas.
Jerry was a man who loved anything outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle any chance he could. He had a love for animals, his favorite was Buddy who he enjoyed taking on walks. He was a family man who love his granddaughter very much and loved to talk about her. Jerry loved learning new things and had a passion for reading.
Jerry is survived by his father: Jerry Baker Sr. and wife Melinda of Durant, Okla.; Mother: Mary Jane Baker and husband David Satterfield of Durant, Okla.; Granddaughter: Everly Belle Edwards of Durant, Okla.; Sisters: Misty Tannahill and husband Vincent of Durant, Okla., Adriene Hall and husband Tim of McKinney, Texas; Brother: Hayden Baker and wife Missy of Durant, Okla.; Nephews: Andrew Easttom, Draegen Baker, Mavric Baker, Lincoln Baker, Jackson Booth, Carter Robinson. Niece: Taylor Satterfield. He will be missed by many friends and family.
Jerry is proceeded in death by his son, Jaron Trey Baker; Grandparents: Burney and Frances Anoatubby, Larry D Baker, and Shirley Sue Hull; His beloved great-grandma Ethel Hull; and Cousin Larry Anatubby.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 at Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma, with Pastor Snyder officiating, following will be internment at I. Hunter Pickens Cemetery in McMillan, Okla. with Vince Tannahill, AJ Easttom, Brandon Dunaway, Keith Hartline, Britt Roberts, and Danny Smith as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Stanfield and David Lynch.
