Gary Wayne Weger age 57, of Colbert, Okla. passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas with his loving family surrounding him. Gary was born on Nov. 21, 1961 at Denison, Texas to Bert Weger Jr. and Patricia Jones Weger.
Gary was a graduate of Colbert High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force between 1980 to 1983 and was a Christian. He was employed as an automotive parts store manager at AutoZone for 25 years. He enjoyed collecting model cars and guns. Gary loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews, teaching them how to shoot guns.
Survived by brothers, Stephen Weger and wife Patricia Weger, of Colbert, Okla. and Kendall Weger and wife Laura Weger of Durant, Okla.; sister, Jennifer Weaver and husband John Weaver of Kemp, Okla.; stepmother, Mamie Weger; nieces, Harlei and Lecy Weger of Colbert, Okla., Makayla and Gabriella Weaver, of Kemp, Okla. and Allison Weger of Durant, Okla.; nephews, David Lawhorn, Jon and Raymond Weger all of Colbert, Okla.; great-niece, Maekynzi Lawhorn of Colbert, Okla.; great-nephew, Markus Lawhorn of Colbert, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bert Weger Jr. and Patricia Jones Weger.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2 p.m., Coleman Ave. Church of Christ, Colbert, Okla. with Richard Gage officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of American Funeral Services, Denison, Texas.
