DURANT – The Durant Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Texoma Parties to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting on July 27.
Located at 1220 N. 16th St., Texoma Parties offers a variety of party services including bounce houses and water slides, clowns and entertainers, event decor, balloon twisting, face painting, magic shows and more.
Owner Diane Gauthier said she is really excited about being a part of the Chamber.
“We’re really looking forward to fulfilling all the entertainment needs in the Bryan County area,” Gauthier said. “We have a full array of services to offer and we’re really excited about making events memorable and the best ever.”
Texoma Parties also offers the Jungle Gym Indoor Playground on site and party space for children’s events, as well as the Texoma Magic Academy.
“That’s a life skills course that children take in the form of magic wands,” Gauthier said. “It’s kind of like a karate course, but they learn life skills through learning magic tricks, like how to be respectful, how to prepare, how to be creative, how to be authentic and different things like that.
“I’m one of only 100 presenters in the United States eligible to do this at this time. It’s something that I just started up and we just had our first camp and it was a lot of fun.”
